Working for Amazon I have had the chance to create Landing Pages for our clients. These were designed according to investment, templates and client’s requirements. All pages are designed across desktop, tablet and mobile.

This was a very unusual project; really one of a kind. A colleague participated to the 2015 Rickshaw Run from N West to N East India and he needed designs for the 2 Tuk Tuk he and his friends were going to use. I had to design using (rather approximate) “wrap-around” templates, which would then […]

Another nice project which gave me a blank canvas to start from. The brief from the client was accurate regarding the purpose of the site and provided several visual examples, but it was very open to interpretation. I started by defining a brand presence and later worked on UI and visuals: fortunately the client was very […]

While working for Amazon Creative Services I was lucky enough to be one of the few team members who were in charge of organising and carrying out small table-top photoshoots for product-driven promotions. I was given specific training on product photography (and more) by a professional photographer and after that I was able to use the […]

Yes, I know, more string quartets website, but this time the client asked for a completely different style from the previous ones. I suggested also that they should be fully responsive so they would display properly across all devices. In order to remain within a low budget I scouted the net looking for reliable templates, […]

This is an example of large AMG client booking a multi-locale campaign (US, UK, DE) with presence in all placements: Kindle Fire, onsite and offsite e-commerce and Mobile. The client was launching new products and provided specific assets: the challenge was to adapt them to all our placements, especially those with a different orientation (original […]

Working for Amazon Media Group I have adapted many client campaigns to the Kindle Fire wakescreen (the first image a user sees when switching the device on). Entertainment campaigns were generally the most fun to work with, but you can see in the gallery below that I have worked with different categories. The main challenge […]

A fun freelance project which required me to design the layout for a skill-sharing website on desktop, tablet and mobile. Following initial client’s brief, I designed the complete user journey from the homepage to search results, profile and message centre.

I have recently decided to rediscover film photography as a hobby. After acquiring a few old cameras I am testing them out and I have one on me pretty much all the time. Here’s a collection of a few shots I have taken to test them out. Shots are by a Voigtländer Vito IIa (1955-59) […]

A client of mine is in the music business and I have created several simple HTML websites for him. While he provided content (text and most images) I took care of the logos, the UI, a simple music player and put the whole thing together, I have then replicated the site several times over, changing […]

Amazon.co.uk was present at the FLY Awards 2014 and this poster allowed attendees to “scan and buy” winner and shortlisted album. I created the “Album of the Year” lockup, but otherwise maintained a black and white and minimalistic design in accordance with the FLY brand traits.

My kids’ school was organising a big anniversary party and I was helping the PA, therefore I offered to design the A3 invite poster which was then printed and put all around the area. My priority was to keep it light, bright and fun, still containing all essential information clearly (especially timing and ticket details). Flat […]

I have been working for a few years (2010-2014) supporting retail categories in Amazon and producing visuals in order to merchandise and promote various products. I have gained a large experience especially with Media categories (Film, Music, Books) in all 5 EU locales (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES). The examples below show you the range […]

I was contacted by the owners of a restaurant pub in SW London to design a poster and flyer for their idea of organising a jazz event in the park. The brief was quite loose so I created typography and illustrations using light, summery colours to reflect the mood of the event. Although we went through just a […]

The client was setting up a news aggregator site, following music, fashion, video trends and so forth. He was looking for a simple and clean logo, with high legibility and easy to recognise. He later also commissioned a set of background/cover images for social media, experimenting with different colours and styles of backgrounds.

In march 2013, in order to celebrate 50 years from the release of “Please, please me” by the Beatles, Amazon Music in the UK decided to create a completely custom takeover page for one day. The brief consisted in creating a look consistent with 1963. Research was based on period music magazines and advertising and […]
